Terms of Service

the short version

Fluff VR Stats and Fluff Bot are free, open source projects made by a fan for the community. use them nicely, don't abuse them, and know they come with no guarantees. that's it :3

1. what these terms cover

these terms apply to the Fluff VR Stats desktop overlay ("the app") and the Fluff Bot Discord bot ("the bot"). by using either one, you agree to these terms. if you don't agree, please don't use them.

2. the license

the app and bot code is released under the MIT License. sticker art and other assets belong to their original artists and are not covered by the code license (see ASSETS.md).

3. using the bot

• don't use the bot to spam, harass, or break Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
• don't try to break, overload, or exploit the bot.
• server staff decide how the bot is used in their server, including moderation actions.
• we can stop the bot from working in any server, or for anyone, at any time.

4. using the app

• the app is a separate SteamVR overlay. it doesn't modify VRChat or any game files.
• you're responsible for following the rules of the games and services you use it with, including VRChat's Terms of Service.
• if you connect an AI provider, you're responsible for your own API key and following that provider's terms.
• FPS boost tweaks change Windows settings on your PC. they're designed to be undoable, but you use them at your own risk.

5. no warranty

the app and bot are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. we don't promise they'll always work, be available, or be free of bugs.

6. limitation of liability

to the extent the law allows, the creator isn't liable for any damages, data loss, bans, or other problems that come from using the app or bot.

7. changes

we may update these terms. the date at the top shows the latest version. continuing to use the app or bot means you accept the updated terms.
